Oriel is a New York-based filmmaker and photographer whose work has been published on TIME magazine, Resource Magazine, The Huffington Post and NOWNESS.

Oriel worked on castings for A&E Network, MTV, Bravo, Lifetime and TLC and   served as the resident filmmaker & visual artist for the world-renowned dance company Pilobolus between 2012-2014. He toured with the company across the globe, documenting their collaborations with various acclaimed artists.

He directed short films for ARTNET and for the acclaimed photographer Robert Whitman. He covered events for The Modern School of Film in which he photographed Glenn Close, Anthony Bordain, Willem Dafoe, Tippy Hedren, Tom Skerritt, Holly Hunter and others.
