ABOUT Me
My name is Oriel. I am a director, producer, visual artist and content creator. I am the founder of The Llama Studio. My work has been published on publications such as The Guardian, Pitchfork, TIME, Nowness, Nylon, Billboard, and The Washington Post.
Over the last decade, I have been working professionally in New York City and beyond; from concept through producing and editing video projects for well-established companies, brands, and publications.
I was the first resident filmmaker and multimedia artist of the world-renowned dance company Pilobolus and I'm currently premiering my debut documentary film A Deeper Love: The Story of Miss Peppermint about the life of the Black trans performer, activist, and LGBTQ+ icon - the film has won awards and is traveling internationally.
